Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other complex medical needs. This role offers multiple shifts and a starting wage of $15.75 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

You will provide direct support, ensure safety and personal growth, and assist with daily living tasks while maintaining dignity and respect. A rewarding opportunity with growth and development.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to transport persons served.
• Comfortable driving to transport individuals as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of those served.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, dressing, bathing, toileting and hygiene.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands‑on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

Qualifications
