Dungarvin inc is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. This full-time position offers a compensation of up to $18.50 hourly. You will work directly with individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve personal goals and maintain independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with potential behavioral support needs.
• Assist with activities of daily living, household cleaning, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, personal goals, appointments, community activities, and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Promote independence, personal choice, and life skills development.
• Support individuals in achieving goals and objectives outlined in their Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and document progress accordingly.
• Observe and communicate changes, concerns, and progress to supervisors and team members.
• Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.

Required (Must-Have)

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance

• Willingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, or squat for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
