Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for all shifts in Toledo, OH. On-site position with no prior experience required and paid training including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with benefits such as medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, plus a 401k and paid time off. Flexible schedules and an employee referral bonus complete the package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
