Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking a Behavioral Health Direct Support Professional to work in Hawthorne, NY. The DSP will provide instruction to individuals to promote intellectual, emotional and social growth in a group home setting.

Responsibilities include fostering growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment, delivering care with normalization and compassion, assisting with medications, nutrition, and transporting clients to appointments as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong teaching skills for individuals who are emotionally, behaviorally, physically and/or developmentally challenged.
• Experience in the principles and application of Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus.
• Current CPR, SCIP and First Aid.
• Proof of highest level of education
• Ability to satisfactorily complete given background checks

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
