Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DDs), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

This position directly supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as daily grooming, meal service, risk mitigation, and following applicable behavioral management plans as defined by the resident\'s individual needs.
Actively engages with individuals at all times and provides all necessary supports to meet their needs, including direct care and service requirements. Follows Active Treatment/Programming schedule.
Identifies hazards or dangerous behaviors in the environment and takes immediate action to avoid, mitigate or eliminate hazards; reports hazardous conditions or unsafe behaviors. Ensures safety of self, residents/consumers, co-workers, families, guardians and visitors at all times.
Implements electronic and paper documentation of training needs including programming, incident reporting, data collection and behavior observations.
High School Diploma or equivalent education is required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
6 months experience preferred working with Intellectual/Developmental Disability populations.
