Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across all 21 New Jersey counties. You will assist with daily living skills, transportation, and personal care while documenting services and working with individualized plans.

Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass background checks; CPR/First Aid training is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and DDD screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping.

Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Diem
$21.50–$26.50 per hour

Serenity is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities

• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping

• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized

• Provide safe transportation

• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals

• Complete timely service notes and required documentation

• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy
