Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Montgomery and Bucks Counties seeks DSP / Direct Support Professionals to work one-on-one in home and community settings, providing companionship, mentorship, and advocacy to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We offer part-time opportunities with flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, a starting pay of $18 per hour with weekly pay, mileage reimbursement options, and benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (autism, down syndrome)
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community outings

How You’ll Make an Impact as a DSP / Direct Support Professional:

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates starting at $18.00/hr. with a weekly pay schedule
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we try to match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
