Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Mount Vernon, OH. Earn $17.75–$18.75 per hour with paid training and multiple shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Full-time and part-time options are available, with extensive benefits and growth opportunities.

As a DSP, you’ll build meaningful relationships and help individuals achieve greater independence, providing personal care, meals, transportation, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License or reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal growth.
• Teach and encourage independence for residents.
• Provide personal care as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with household tasks.
• Create a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
• Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community events.
