Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Troy, OH to provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence and safety. Training is provided, no prior experience required, with flexible schedules and a full-benefit package for full-time roles.

Responsibilities include supervising and assisting individuals, meal preparation, personal care, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.
Personal, reliable vehicle eligible for transporting individuals served.
Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
Supervise, teach and assist individuals in all aspects of daily life.
Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
Provide personal care assistance.

Required

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
