ASG Home Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities throughout New Jersey. You will work one‑on‑one with clients, supporting daily living skills and community participation while following ISP plans.

Flexible scheduling (full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem options) and local NJ cases make this role ideal for dependable DSPs. Prior DSP or caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one supports in home or community settings.
• Assist with daily living skills (meals, hygiene, routines).
• Support community integration, outings, and appointments.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Provide Individual Supports and Community-Based Supports as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Assist with daily living skills (meal preparation, hygiene, organization, routines)
• Support community integration, outings, and appointments
• Encourage independence, socialization, and skill development
• Provide supervision and ensure safety at all times
• Document services accurately and timely in HHAeXchange (EVV)
• Communicate effectively with families and office staff
