Job summary

EON, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities in our Lake George, MN program. This hourly, non-exempt, part-time role offers afternoon, evening, weekend and overnight shifts with PTO eligibility and ESOP benefits for eligible staff.

A DSP must be flexible, patient, and able to work without direct supervision. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, clear motor vehicle record, no disqualifying criminal background, ability to read and write

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Must not be disqualified by criminal background studies.
• Meet the physical requirements as outlined in physical assessment form.
• Able to read and write in English.
• Able to document information electronically.

Responsibilities

• Assisting individuals with dressing, grooming, hygiene, and other daily living functions.
• Assisting individuals with bedtime routines, administering medications, physical therapy, etc.
• Supporting and teaching individuals independent living skills (routines, meal prep, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, hygiene, appointments, shopping).
• Assisting individuals in accessing the community and participating in recreation and leisure activities.
• Resolve challenging situations as they arise.

Schedule: P art-time positions available. Afternoon, evening, weekend (morning), and overnight shifts available (i ncludes every other weekend ) .

As a DSP you must have the ability to exercise flexibility and assertiveness, have a positive work ethic, problem solve, and navigate challenging situations effectively. A DSP must also be able to work without direct supervision.
