Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC - Genesis Day Training Center LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. Positions available include full-time and part-time roles, with all shifts open and starting pay up to $16.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience.

As a DSP, you will provide personal care, assist with daily tasks, and support individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• DSP certification or willingness to obtain through paid training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADLs.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep and cleaning; maintain safe, learning-friendly home.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection.
• Document activities, concerns and progress notes.
• Participate in in-home and out-of-home activities including driving company vehicles.
• Provide an abuse- and neglect-free environment at all times.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements

• DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training
• At least 18 years of age
• Transportation to your shifts

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Duties

• Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s
• Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning.
