Job summary

Avancer Homes LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our Persimmon CILA home in Genoa, Illinois. This position supports individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in a supportive residential setting across Ogle and DeKalb counties.

Starting pay is up to $16.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus and paid training. We offer an environment that values kindness, growth, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• DSP certified or willing to become certified via paid training.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to shifts.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs and activities of daily living.
• Assist with household tasks, meal prep, cooking, and cleaning.
• Monitor individuals and provide redirection as needed.
• Document activities, concerns and progress notes.
• Participate in in-home and out-of-home activities, may drive company vehicles.
• Provide an abuse and neglect-free environment at all times.

Duties
