Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services in Chillicothe, OH is hiring Direct Support Professionals earning $17.75-$18.25 per hour. No experience required as comprehensive training including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
