Job summary

Traditional Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism and mental health needs. Roles include personal care assistance, companionship, and promoting community involvement across multiple Pennsylvania locations.

Positions offer flexible schedules including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and full/part-time options. EVV/mobile device usage is required to log visits and track hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a mobile device to log visits and track service hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and supportive social interaction.
• Communicate effectively to support social skills.
• Perform light housekeeping and chores.
• Ensure a safe environment and teach basic safety skills.
• Meet individual goals and outcomes.
• Promote community involvement (outings, activities, errands).

Location: Milford, PA; Port Jervis, PA; Pocono Woodland Lakes, PA

Shift: Part-Time, Full-Time, Weekday, Weekend and Evenings, All Shifts

Immediate Openings: Bethlehem, Pa: All shifts available!!!

Schedules will vary; must be flexible.

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job duties include:

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skill
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements:

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
