Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will empower independence, ensure safety, dignity, and well-being in a person-centered environment.

Responsibilities include daily living support, documenting progress, accompanying to appointments, and promoting community participation, with emphasis on BSPs and behavioral supports where needed.

As a DSP, you will play an important role in empowering individuals, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and companionship

• Encourage independence, social engagement, and community participation

• Implement individualized care plans and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs)

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with mobility and personal care needs

• Knowledge of person-centered care and individual rights
