Job summary

ETTA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for our adult client with intellectual and developmental disabilities in West Los Angeles. The role focuses on independent living skills, daily living support, and social integration within the Pico-Robertson area.

The DSP will assist with cooking, grooming, and maintaining a clean living space, and will drive the resident to various community locations to explore employment opportunities. Paid training is provided at ETTA HQ in North Hollywood.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Must be willing to drive, with own insured vehicle.
• Willing to drive male resident in Pico-Robertson area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and assist with daily living activities.
• Teach Independent Living Skills and help maintain a clean apartment.
• Assist resident with grooming and personal care.
• Drive resident to community locations and support employment opportunities.
