Job summary

ETTA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist a young man with independent living in the Pico-Robertson area of West Los Angeles. You will help with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, and participate in Village activities to expand community involvement.

Paid training is provided at ETTA headquarters in North Hollywood. You must be available for weekday daytime training, typically 3–7 days, to prepare for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) or other special needs.
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record (minimum three years).
• Must have own insured vehicle with name listed as an authorized driver.
• Willing to drive male resident/client if needed in Pico-Robertson Area and surrounding community.

Responsibilities

• Support a young man with independent living activities including cooking, cleaning, laundry, and budgeting.
• Participate in Village activities and explore employment opportunities in the area.
• Paid training is provided in person at ETTA headquarters in North Hollywood; availability for daytime weekday training 3–7 days.
