Job summary

McGuire Memorial in New Brighton, PA, is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional for a 9:00am-3:00pm schedule (about 24 hours weekly). You will assist individuals with daily activities and participate in social, recreational, and community-based programs.

The role requires no prior experience but requires successful completion of background checks, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass physical and drug screening.
• Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance.
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check.
• FBI Federal Criminal History Record (fingerprinting).
• TB testing.

Responsibilities

• Meet individuals' daily physical, emotional, and spiritual needs
• Participate in daily social, recreational, and community based activities
• Assist in bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and positioning
