Job summary

ACHIEVE is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Day Services in Oneida, NY. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday daytime hours and a pay rate of $20.00 per hour.

You will support individuals with developmental disabilities with life skills, socialization, and safety, following individual plans, documenting progress, and promoting independence within a caring, team‑oriented environment. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and daily living support based on each person’s Life Plan, IPOP, or ISP while promoting independence
• Build life, social, and community skills by helping individuals pursue personal goals, participate in meaningful activities, and develop natural supports
• Ensure health and safety by providing trained supports such as First Aid, CPR, medication administration, and SCIP-R interventions
• Transport individuals safely to programs, activities, and community locations
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance by completing service notes and reports, protecting confidentiality, and following agency policies and program standards

Responsibilities

The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with developmental disabilities with skill acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills. You will provide support and services to individuals to attain independence, productivity, and integration.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid NYS Driver's License with a driving record that is in accordance with the requirements of our Liability/Automotive Insurance carrier
