Job summary

Living Resources in East Greenbush, NY is seeking Direct Support Professionals to empower individuals with disabilities to live with dignity and independence. Earn up to $19.25 per hour with full-time or part-time schedules; training is provided and you’ll work closely with families in the community.

The role involves on-site and community activities, transporting participants, and supporting daily goals. Requirements include at least 18 years old, a valid NYS driver’s license, and a HS diploma

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to activities and appointments.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform tasks involving lifting, repositioning, and transferring without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals at Day Community Program on-site and in the community.
• Assist participants with daily activities and goals within a supportive team.
• Transport participants to community activities and appointments as needed.

Schedule: Full Time or Part Time, Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Our East Greenbush Site Base Day Habilitation Program is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals at our on‑site day program setting. Activities are done on-site and off-site in the community.

Requirements

We would like to speak with those that are:

• Passionate about making a difference
• At least 18 years of age
• Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to community activities and appointments
• HS Diploma or GED
• Must be able to perform all tasks which require lifting, re-positioning and transferring without restriction
