Job summary

Living Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with disabilities to live with dignity and independence. You will work hand-in-hand with families to provide exceptional care and support in community settings, delivering compassionate, person-centered services.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, facilitating community participation, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Passionate about making a difference
• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED or Current certifications (i.e. PCA, CNA, HHA)
• Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to community activities

Responsibilities

• Provide Direct Support to individuals with disabilities in community settings
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care
• Collaborate with families to plan and implement individualized support
• Support individuals to participate in community activities and events
• Document care activities accurately and maintain safety protocols

Our Day Community Opportunity Program in Columbia/Greene County, is seeking Direct Support Professionals. Do you want to have fun with our individuals who are independent within the community? We love to help them reach their goals by participating within the community, as well as volunteering to reach their short and long term goals. Great opportunity to grow and become part of a great team in Columbia/Greene County Day Community Program.

Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8am to 4pm.
