Job summary

Lasting Impressions MO LLC is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) with a background in mental health or behavioral support to join our residential services team in Sedalia, MO. You will work in individuals' homes and communities, helping them build independence, develop coping skills, and achieve personal goals through patient, person-centered support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to complete required training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed support to individuals with mental health or behavioral challenges.
• Recognize distress and de-escalate situations.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with individuals in home and community.
• Help individuals develop emotional regulation and coping skills.
• Implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and safety plans.
• Document changes in emotional well-being and communicate with the team.
• Collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff to ensure consistent support.
