Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support professional to help individuals grow, learn, and live well in Fergus Falls, MN. You’ll assist with daily care, personal hygiene, and participation in community activities, while supporting participants in achieving personal goals and improving quality of life.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and at least six months of human services experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License for at least 1 year post-permit and a clean MVR.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, and time‑management skills.
• No HS diploma required for this direct support role.

Responsibilities

• Provide everyday support to participants with personal hygiene and daily activities.
• Assist participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Build relationships and help participants participate in community activities.
• Show initiative and support participants with compassion and reliability.
• Follow plans from supervisors and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
