Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver in Michigan to assist individuals with daily living and hygiene needs, while supporting their developmental goals and community participation.

You will work with participants who may have behavioral challenges, focusing on respectful, patient care and building meaningful relationships. A High School diploma and some human services experience are preferred; valid driver's license and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Encourage participation in community activities and goals.
• Document progress and communicate with supervisors and care teams.
