Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in home care or with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
• Knowledge of patient care techniques and first aid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm under pressure and compassionate demeanor.
• HIPAA confidentiality awareness

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal hygiene and meals.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Promote independence and community participation.
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times.
• Document changes in health or behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and activities.
