Job summary

Spectrum Community Services is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide on-site coordination of active treatment in Adult Foster Care and Community Living Services settings in Byron Center, MI. You will support residents with daily living activities and health-related tasks.

Experience with disabilities is preferred but not required; comprehensive training including CPR/FA is provided. The role emphasizes building trusting relationships, helping with cooking, cleaning,

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must provide two work references demonstrating good performance and attendance.
Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Must have reliable and ongoing transportation.
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check including fingerprinting, medical clearance (TB test, drug screen & physical exam), and MILTC screening.

Responsibilities

On-site coordination of active treatment in AFs/CLS homes or private residence.
Assist clients with cooking, cleaning, community integration, health and personal care.
