Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Renton, WA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living, including personal care and community activities. You will follow the Individual Instruction and Support Plan (IISP), maintain logs, and participate in required training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum Driving Experience: Must have a valid in-state driver's license and be able to provide current car insurance.
• Must be able to read, write and understand documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals assists adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives.
• Assists with care of dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs and redirects behaviors with various activities as needed.
• Provides support to program participants that meets their needs, provides opportunities for community integration and a nurturing, safe living environment.
• Maintains professional working relationships with participants, families/guardians, and staff; completes documentation including medication logs and progress notes.
