Job summary

Wall Residences, Inc. is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals for Community-Based services in Fredericksburg, VA. You will support individuals with learning basic skills, self-care, and community integration by accompanying them into diverse community outings.

Paid training is provided (First Aid & CPR, CMRT, Medication Administration, DSP Training, documentation). Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record and undergo background checks.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals for Community-Based services assist individuals in learning basic social skills, self-care, communication, exploring interests and integrating into their community.
• Accompany individuals into the community for outings that include recreational activities, volunteering, music and art classes, social events, and more.
• Provide support in both indoor and outdoor settings and maintain accurate notes for continuity of quality care.
• Complete training provided, including First Aid & CPR, CMRT, Medication Administration, DSP Training, and documentation training.

Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends if needed.

Our Community-Based DSP'ssupport individuals in learning basic social skills, self-care, communication, exploring interest, and integrating into their community by accompanying them into the community. Outings are diverse and include recreational opportunities, volunteering, music and art classes, social events, and more in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Paid training provided by Wall Residences may include First Aid & CPR, CMRT (Crisis Management & Response Training), Medication Administration, DSP Training, and documentation training.
