Job summary

Wall Residences is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals for Community-Based services in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them build social skills, self-care, and community participation, accompanying them to outings, classes, and events.

Paid training is provided (First Aid/CPR, CMRT, Medication Administration, DSP training, documentation).

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Active driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience with no major violations in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

Wall Residences provides high-quality community services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking part-time, experienced Direct Support Professionals for Community-Based services in the Fredericksburg, Virginia area. Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends if needed.

Our Community-Based DSP's support individuals in learning basic social skills, self-care, communication, exploring interest, and integrating into their community by accompanying them into the community. Outings are diverse and include recreational opportunities, volunteering, music and art classes, social events, and more in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Paid training provided by Wall Residences may include First Aid & CPR, CMRT (Crisis Management & Response Training), Medication Administration, DSP Training, and documentation training.
