Job summary

The Arc Montgomery County in Rockville, MD is seeking a Part Time Direct Support Professional-CLS (Flower). The role focuses on empowering individuals with developmental disabilities in Inclusive Living Services—Community Living across 30+ homes.

You will help with daily living, safety, and meaningful community involvement. Expected to work Saturdays and Sundays with pay ranging from $22.70 to $23.84 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 18 years of age and one year of experience.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Fluent reading and writing in English.
• Ability to assist people with daily living activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand/walk, bend, reach, pull and push for extended periods.
• Must pass a 6th-grade math and reading test in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide supports to promote independence and community participation.
• Ensure safety and well-being of individuals in care.
• Support homes and personal needs; assist with daily living activities.
• Help individuals engage in community activities and meaningful routines.
