Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking an entry-level Direct Support Professional for the casual pool in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The role is focused on following ISP health and safety plans, maintaining thorough team communication, and supporting individuals in residential programs.

The position requires a GED or HS diploma, a driver’s license, and a commitment to working a minimum of 25 hours per month across 8‑hour or 12.5‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma.
• Previous experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or autism preferred.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety protocols per ISP and department policies.
• Communicate clearly with family, medical professionals, supports coordinators, behavior consultants and staff.
• Supervise designated shifts and plan activities as trained.
• Review service notes for quality and participate in trainings.
• Assist clinicians and mentor team as needed.
