Abound Health is hiring a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate caregiving and daily living support for a 32-year-old female in Pittsboro, NC with IDD. As a DSP you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and safety.

This role offers flexible schedules, paid onboarding, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven team. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintaining schedules.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $16.50+ and $1,000 Signing Bonus –

Abound Health is hiring a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide caregiving and daily living support for a 32 y.o. female in Pittsboro, NC with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support and situational safety, online safety awareness and redirecting while helping her live independently. What You’ll Do

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $16.50

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
