Job summary

The Arc of Greater New Orleans is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during community outings. You will help participants engage with local shops, events, and activities, while promoting independence, safety, and inclusion.

No experience is required; we will train you. This role offers paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, with opportunities

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Background helping others is a plus, not a requirement.
• Paid training provided so you can get started quickly.
• Flexible shift options (mid-day or non-standard) may be available.
• Mileage reimbursement offered to cover travel costs.

Responsibilities
