Job summary

Hope is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home services for adults with varying needs in Lakewood, WA. You will work under the Program Manager to support daily living and help individuals participate in community activities, including weekend events.

Training is provided, and benefits are offered. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, with health benefits, a 401K, paid time off, paid training, and promotional opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
• 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and three years of licensed driving experience.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass a background check through DSHS.
• Be available to work at least one weekend shift a week.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and coaching individuals according to habilitative plans.
• Assisting with or providing basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene and medication.
• Providing supervision and engagement.
• Facilitating community outings.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Allnew hires start at $19.00/hour.
• Newhires placed in Zone homes may be eligible for a pay differential, up to$3.00/hour. Pay is based on:
  • Hours workedin Zone homes only.
  • Completionof required training.
  • Meetingall Zone program requirements.

Caregiver Job Responsibilities

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide in home servicesto adults with range of mental capabilities. Under the supervision of theProgram Manager, the responsibilities include:

Caregiver Job Requirements
