Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• A Valid Driver’s License
• Successful background clearance, physical, agility test, and drug/alcohol screening.
• Lift, push, pull and/ or carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl and run.

Responsibilities

• Work directly 1:1 in a group home setting with children with developmental disabilities.
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Track session data with the treatment team to help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

DSP (Direct Support Professional)- Full-Time- Springfield, IL

Hours: 2:30pm-11:00pm

Hourly Rate: $19.50- $20.10
