About the Role:

The Direct Support Professional (DSP / caregiver) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities by providing compassionate and personalized support. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for the position).
  • Ability to pass background checks as mandated by state and federal regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Demonstrated compassion and patience in working with individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Direct Support Professional or in a related caregiving role.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Training or coursework in developmental disabilities, behavioral health, or related fields.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and basic computer skills.
