Job summary

Indera is seeking a 1:1 Direct Support Professional to assist a 24-year-old male in Marcellus, NY with daily activities and community outings. This part-time, 10-hour weekly role offers flexible days starting after 10:00am and a starting pay of $19.25 per hour, with increases based on experience.

You will provide supportive care, encourage participation in activities, and monitor safety while traveling to different locations. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Marcellus, NY (CA – SS)

A 24-year-old male in the Marcellus area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with exercising and participating in activities while out in the community. He likes watching movies, videos on YouTube, reading books, going for walks/runs, looking at pictures, and baking. The ideal candidate is active, patient, engaging, attentive, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed, redirect behaviors and responses, and support regulation. The ideal candidate should be very active and able to run.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: 10 hours per week, flexible days with a pick up anytime after 10:00am.

Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
