Job summary

D&S Community Services, part of the Sevita family, seeks compassionate caregivers to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings. You’ll help with daily living activities, personal care, and meaningful engagement.

You’ll work under supervision, develop relationships, and contribute to a stable, growth-oriented team. A high school diploma and at least six months in human services are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with participants with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and activities they enjoy.
• Collaborate with supervisors and care teams to ensure participant wellbeing.
