Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Upper Chichester, PA program. Earn $18.75/hour with Enhanced Pay option plus a $1.50 shift differential, with shifts Thursday/Friday 10pm–8am and Saturday 10pm–10am. No experience required—we provide PAID training.

Join a compassionate team helping individuals in a variety of settings, supporting daily living activities while encouraging growth and independence. Eligible candidates must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Experience in home health aide setting or school setting with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
• No experience required — PAID training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including hygiene, housekeeping, and laundry
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to achieve goals
• Follow Individual Support Plans to support social and communication skills
• Engage in activities at parks and sensory gardens to foster independence and community participation

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidatewill have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer's lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.
