Job summary

Albertina Kerr in Milwaukie, OR seeks compassionate caregiver to support adults with disabilities in group home settings. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, medications, personal hygiene, cooking, and transportation on trips.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during shifts.
• Willing to learn basic cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Flexible and eager to learn new skills.
• Weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medications, cooking, dressing, personal hygiene and cleaning.
• Provide high-quality personal care and support to adults with disabilities.
• Connect with family, professionals, and community members for the best support.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and observe health concerns.
• Assist in community and group-home activities, including home visits and trips.
• Operate a vehicle for transport as assigned, with proper driving credentials.
• Document observations and communicate professionally with the care team.

Each day, you'll support adults in being successful in what they want to do. Common tasks involve help with medications, cooking, dressing, personal hygiene and cleaning.
