Job summary

Albertina Kerr is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with disabilities in group homes in Gresham, OR. You will provide daily living assistance, personal care, and community-based support to help clients lead self-determined lives.

Responsibilities include medication support, transportation, health monitoring, and collaboration with families and healthcare professionals. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a willingness to learn, and weekend availability preferred.

• Basic cooking and cleaning skills; willingness to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with disabilities to build skills and independence.
• Provide high-quality personal care and support for daily living tasks.
• Coordinate with family, healthcare professionals, and staff for coordinated care.
• Transport clients as needed and follow safety/Behavior Support Plans.
• Observe health conditions, monitor vital signs, and report changes to nurses.

Every person is unique, so job duties vary. Each day, you'll support adults in being successful in what they want to do. Common tasks involve help with medications, cooking, dressing, personal hygiene and cleaning. Make a positive impact by providing skill building and guidance.
