Job summary

Systems Unlimited, Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals to support people with disabilities and mental health needs in Williamsburg, IA. The compensation ranges from $15.25 to $17.00 per hour, with opportunities for training and growth within Supported Community Living.

Responsibilities include helping clients pursue personal goals, assisting with daily activities, and accompanying them to community events. The role emphasizes safety, dignity, and empowerment in independent living.

Qualifications

• Driving record that is acceptable is preferred.
• People with a passion to help others encouraged to apply, we will provide the training and classes needed to provide excellent services.

• Write documentation about the support provided during your shift.
• Work with a variety of needs including medical, behavioral, and mental health supports.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistance to allow people served to live more independently and happily in their homes by working with them to achieve their personal goals, e.g., healthy eating, exercising, or doing fun activities in their home
• Assist with day-to-day needs (transportation, cleaning, bathing, preparing meals, medical appointments, etc.)
• Go with people served in the community to do activities (Shopping, Special Olympics, movies, etc.)
• Provide encouragement and coaching to people who are working to develop daily living skills & healthy habits
• Write documentation about the support you provided during your shift

Requirements
