Job summary

Potential Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Part-Time) to provide one-on-one support to adults with Autism in private homes and community settings. The role emphasizes following individualized plans, promoting independence and safety, and documenting sessions and timesheets.

Hours are part-time dayshift; commute throughout Lower Bucks County is expected. Driving client in personal vehicle is required. Salary ranges from $19 to $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to commute throughout Lower Bucks County.
• Ability to accurately document sessions and complete service logs.
• Active driver's license, car insurance, registration, and inspection required.
• Reliability and ability to work independently with one client.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with Autism or developmental disabilities in private homes and community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living, skill-building, communication development, behavior reduction, and community integration.
• Follow individualized support plans to meet each client’s goals and needs.
• Promote independence, safety, and well-being while building trust with clients.
• Collect data, write session notes, and complete required logs and timesheets.
• Collaborate with BCBA and incorporate feedback into sessions.

Direct Support Professional (Part-Time)

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a key role in helping adults develop essential skills, participate in everyday activities, and engage within their communities. This part-time position offers competitive pay ($19 - $22 per hour), one-on-one client support, and the opportunity to make a daily impact by fostering safety, independence, and personal growth.

What You’ll Do As a DSP

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with Autism or intellectual/developmental disabilities in private homes and community settings
• Assist with activities of daily living, skill-building, communication development, behavior reduction, and community integration
• Follow individualized support plans designed to meet each client’s unique goals and needs
• Promote independence, safety, and well-being while building a positive and trusting client relationship
• Collect accurate data, write session notes, and complete required service logs and timesheets
• Utilize basic technology for documentation and communication
• Collaborate with your client’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and incorporate feedback into future sessions
• Maintain client safety, confidentiality, and a supportive environment focused on personal progress
