Job summary

Merakey in Vineland, NJ is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. DSPs work Tue–Thu 3p–11p and Sat 9a–9p, supporting individuals in daily living and community activities.

No experience is required as paid training is provided. Pay rate is $18.13/hr, or $20.13/hr with Enhanced Pay, with a mission to help individuals reach their fullest potential.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license. (Prefer candidates have their own transportation).
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to support social and communication skills.
• Enhance independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care.
• Teach daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
