6 Direct Support Professionals needed in Vernal, Utah.

We are currently hiring for Direct Support Professionals at NES in Vernal. Our organization operates 19 homes, many staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a fun, rewarding career with plenty of opportunities to grow.

No experience or certifications are necessary — we will provide all the training needed for the right candidates.

Shift Options

• One (1) – Full-time 40 hours a week – Saturday & Sunday 9a-9p with two days during the week 3p-11p.
• Two (2) – Part-time: 24 hours a week – Saturday & Sunday 9a-9p can add one day a week 3p-11p.
• Two (2) – PRN: Work shifts as needed.
• One (1) – Graveyard: Friday 11p-9a, Saturday 9p-9a, & Sunday 9p-9a. 34 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
• Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities, outings, and appointments.
• Uphold resident rights while ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
• Foster positive relationships with clients by providing emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress as required.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices, particularly in senior care and home community care settings.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Ability to monitor patients effectively, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• A compassionate approach to caregiving that respects resident rights and promotes independence.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
