Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Implement person centered plan and document progress accurately.
• Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and other duties assigned relating to the supported individual.
• Encourage skill-building, independence, and community integration.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members.
• Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved support strategies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification, DDA Core Training, MANDT, and Bloodborne Pathogen (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Genuine empathy and commitment to person-centered care
