Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare in Sandpoint, Idaho, is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on care and companionship to individuals in their homes. As a DSP, you will assist with daily living activities, encourage independence, and build meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a group home or home-like setting.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including feeding and medical monitoring.
• Assist with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment.
• Encourage self-help activities.
• Accompany clients to scheduled appointments.

Responsibilities

While no two days are exactly the same, here are some things you will be responsible for:
