Job summary

Safeway Home Healthcare in the Twin Cities metro is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support to adults in their homes and communities.

Roles include IHS with Training, IHS without Training, and Homemaking; schedules vary by client, with opportunities to work with multiple clients.

You will help clients develop daily living skills and participate in routines to maintain independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable with strong communication skills.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and transportation to travel to clients throughout the metro area and surrounding suburbs.
• Must be comfortable supporting individuals who may have complex behavioral or support needs.
• Ability to work independently while following client-specific plans, boundaries, and expectations.
• Willingness to work with multiple clients may provide opportunities for additional hours.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Metro Area & Greater Twin Cities Suburbs

Safeway Home Healthcare is seeking dependable, compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized support to adults in their homes and communities. We are hiring for multiple clients throughout the Twin Cities metro and surrounding suburbs. Positions may include IHS with Training, IHS without Training, and Homemaking services. Hours and schedules vary by client, with opportunities to work with one or multiple clients.

Types of Services: IHS with Training

• Teach and build independent living skills through hands‑on coaching and support.
• Assist clients with routines, organization, appointments, community activities, and other individualized goals.
• Encourage clients to increase independence and maintain skills.
• Follow each client's person‑centered support plan and documented goals.

IHS without Training

• Provide direct assistance with daily living and community‑based needs.
• Support clients with routines, appointments, errands, activities, and household tasks.
• Help clients maintain independence, safety, and stability in their home and community.
• Provide individualized support based on the client's needs and support plan.

Homemaking

• Assist with routine household cleaning and organization.
• Support laundry, dishes, changing linens, and maintaining living spaces.
• Assist with meal preparation and other routine household tasks.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
