Sevita, including Mentor Community Services, seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered support in community-based settings. You will mentor and assist individuals with daily tasks, meals, and activities, helping them lead fuller lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5 years of caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate approach to caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Support Independence: Help individuals with budgeting, nutrition, and community activities.
• Build Relationships: Act as a mentor, advocate, and friend to those served.
• Daily Care: Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, personal care, and community outings.
